Cheap Sardines (As They Should Be) Means Good Eats

I am cheating a tiny bit, because this is really a post about a great bargin I found which relates to food, but it includes a recipe, so I posted it to my more general “things Jim has to say” blog and I’m making reference to it here, in case you’re interested.

Smoked sardines, harvested from Maine, at rock bottom prices.

I paid $10 for a tin of these at the local fancy grocer. They’re very good fillets. Large, clean. Good flavor.
